Dear Guests,

Welcome aboard your flight today with Royal Brunei Airlines (RB). Our team is working very hard to constantly improve and innovate our customer service and we invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy the experience.

In this issue of our lively and ever popular inflight magazine Muhibah, it is our privilege to honour the 69th birthday of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

This year, RB is itself proud to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our first flight. On behalf of all RB staff past and present, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to His Majesty for his active support and encouragement for RB from the very beginning.

As many of our frequent passengers are aware, RB commenced our rebranding journey with the new livery for our Dreamliner fleet in October 2013. Since then the new heritage-inspired uniforms we introduced for our cabin crew, customer service centre personnel and airport staff in Brunei and around the world have been very well received.

Most recently, we launched our newly rebranded, state-of-the-art Customer Service Centre at RB Plaza in Bandar Seri Begawan, and introduced a new Premier Check-In Lounge at Brunei International Airport.

Our website www.flyroyalbrunei.com also underwent a major facelift with the addition of a richer content on all our destinations and a new user-friendly infrastructure. The website also features better data on comparison of fares, clearer flight information and a layout that is easier to navigate.

New ancillary services are also featured, enabling passengers to book preferred seats and purchase extra baggage at attractive online rates. Finally, a new Manage My Booking feature is now available, allowing passengers to view and update their booking details at any time from the comfort of their home.

We have also launched a new mobile website; enabling passengers to make flight bookings on their smart phones. These new initiatives will greatly enhance our ability to meet the expectations of our ever-growing internet-savvy customers.

As always, I would like to conclude with a sincere word of thanks to you for flying with RB today and, for our part, we will continue do our best to earn your support in the future.
