The 19th CONSUMER FAIR

Taking place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas, the 19th Consumer Fair will kick off the New Year with “New Year Resolutions” as its main theme. Visitors can expect a variety of products and services from local and international exhibitors in the most popular fair in Brunei Darussalam. Also, mark your calendars for the grandest and biggest installment of the Consumer Fair (20th Consumer Fair) tentatively from 26-30 July 2017.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise, the Burj Khalifa will be hosting Designing 007: Fifty Years of Bond Style at The Annex. The exhibition features sets, gadgets, vehicle, technology and fashion over the course of five decades, including Scaramanga’s Golden Gun from The Man with the Golden Gun, as well as the Spectre Aston Martin DB10.

REALTIME – MIYANAGA AKIRA

Bringing together a selection of works by Miyanaga Akira, a Japanese contemporary artist, this exhibition in Melbourne’s NGV International will expose visitors to his mesmerising moving image works. Crafted from film footage of the everday life in Japan, Miyanaga’s works are visually compelling as it straddles the line between realism and abstraction.

MAGICAL LANTERN FESTIVAL

Chiswick House and Gardens is transformed into a magical wonderland by sundown. In conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations, the grounds will be covered with beautifully sculpted lanterns that outline this year’s theme – Explore the Silk Road. To add to the festivities, there will also be food stalls, a synthetic ice rink as well as fun fair rides.
