RAINFOREST WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL
Sarawak Cultural Village, about 30 minutes from Kuching City, will once again come alive with the sounds of the Rainforest World Music Festival. Musicians from around the world, including indigenous artists from the interiors of Borneo, will congregate at this festival that will also host informative workshops, along with a variety of food and drinks stalls, and an arts and crafts bazaar.

HIS MAJESTY THE SULTAN’S 72ND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
The citizens of Brunei Darussalam will be celebrating their beloved monarch’s 72nd birthday with joyous festivities. A ceremonial parade will be held at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien to honour His Majesty. As part of the celebration, His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will also travel to all four districts in the Sultanate for a meet-and-greet session with well-wishers.
