JARASEOM SINGSING WINTER FESTIVAL
Ever wanted to try trout fishing during winter? Head to Gapyeongcheon stream, located at Gyeonggi-do and you can try your hands at it. If you are able to brave the chill, you can also attempt to fish bare-handed! All catches can be eaten right away, be it raw or grilled. There are also activities like ice sledding, riding bumper cars on the snow, as well as traditional Korean experiences and many more to while away the time.

ESCHER X NENDO | BETWEEN TWO WORLDS
Escher X Nendo | Between Two Worlds will feature the work of Dutch graphic artist M. C. Escher in dialogue with the work of Japanese design studio Nendo, led by designer Oki Sato. The first exhibition of its kind, it is held at the NGV in Melbourne, with displays of more than 150 of Escher’s most renowned prints and drawings in an immersive exhibition space designed by Nendo.

2018 TAICHUNG WORLD FLORA EXPOSITION
The exhibition is held across three different venues: Waipu Park, Fengyuan Huludun Park and the Houli Horse Ranch and Forest Park. While each park focuses on different themes, visitors can expect to see landscaped gardens curated by international participants, creative flower-themed artworks and floral design installations by countries such as Malaysia, Japan and Germany, to name a few. Don’t miss the orchid pavilion that displays orchids of all species then pop over to the gift shop to bring some home.

STANDARD CHARTERED DUBAI MARATHON 2019
Both seasoned runners and amateurs will be heading to Dubai for the annual Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon. For leisure runners, there are the 4km and 10km distances on offer. With the start and finish of the marathon happening opposite Madinat Jumeirah, the event will take participants through some of Dubai’s most iconic sights, including the Burj Al Arab.
