Dear Guests,

Welcome aboard Royal Brunei Airlines (RB). It is my great honour to begin this issue by extending our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and the people of Brunei, on the occasion of the recent National Day on 23 February, 2016.

In this issue, we proudly focus our attention on our Customer Care Executive (CCE) team at Brunei International Airport, who exemplify service excellence to our passengers. This team was established in 2013 as part of our continuing efforts to create a more personalised service ensuring a hassle-free and faultless experience for our passengers. Dressed in traditional yet chic heritage-inspired uniforms, our CCE team members are always on hand to smoothen your passage.

On the commercial side of our business, RB has recently signed an important new code-share agreement with Turkish Airlines which will facilitate seamless connections for our passengers from Bandar Seri Begawan to Istanbul via Dubai and vice versa. The codeshare is also important in creating visibility for Brunei as a new and exciting destination on the worldwide network of Turkish Airlines.

Overall, these are exciting times at RB as we continue preparations for the entry into service of the new generation and eco-friendly A320NEO on the island of BorNEO in late 2017!

In the meantime, a sincere word of thanks for choosing to fly with RB and we look forward to earning your continued loyalty into the future.
